The Remus was a ship docked in Southampton. It was named after one of the legendary founders of Rome, Remus, twin brother of Romulus, who were suckled by a she-wolf.
The ship's Captain sought to reach Rome, after stopping in two Muslim-held ports, Malaga and Tunis.
Trivia[]
If the player chooses to go to Rome, the following will happen:
- Many days and nights pass in crampled discomfort. The coastline of Muslim-held Iberia glides past.
- You land briefly in Tunis, ruled by the Muslims of the Aghlabid Emirate under the Abbasid Empire. Soon you will reach Rome.
- Approaching Rome, your ship is caught in a powerful storm. You are washed overboard and your armour quickly drags you to the bottom of the sea.
