St. Juthware was saint associated with the town of Halstock. A pious women, she would open her house to pilgrims on their way to a nearby shrine. This so enraged her brother that he took up his sword and cut off her head. The story says that Juthware picked up her own head and carried it to the local altar before she finally died.

The above is a version told by Merlin. Another legend says that her brother was deceived by their stepmother and decapitated his sister thinking she was illegally pregnant. After that, he repented and became a monk.
