Rollin' Jack[1] the Harbourmaster of Southampton.

He received Galahad who took a ship to the Far East. When Galahad left, he sent a message to Camelot, with Galahad's horse and mule with rations.

He expected to see someone to go after him, but he was surprised to see King Arthur himself visiting the port and asking for a ship to Gaza.

Merlin describes the Harbourmaster as an old sailor who enjoys food and grog.

Behind the scenesEdit

Merlin's description presents an anachronism because grog, an alcoholic drink associated with English sailors, was invented about 1000 years after King Arthur's age.

His name must be a reference to the rolling jack device.
