Chalice well

This Chalice Well was found in Glastonbury Tor next to the Holy Thorn. The Crystal heart stolen from the Lady of the Lake was hidden there, which caused the spell of Circular Entrapment; the Mad Monk thought his treasure was kept.

The well could be opened only by the iron key. Arthur opened it and escaped the Tor.

Behind the scenesEdit

The design of the well's cover is a Vesica Piscis, modeled after the Chalice Well, and could be the same.

The Chalice Well and the location of the alleged location of the Thorn Tree actually lie at the foot of the Tor in the Chalice Well Gardens. The cover and the design of the well actually only go back to 1919, it was designed by the church architect and archaeologist Frederick Bligh Bond.
